Message Development
Without having an effective tailored and on-target message(s) that speaks directly
to your customers, target market and your PR publics your business building
& development efforts suffer and so does your Return-On-Investment (ROI).
If a message is not clear or more importantly, doesn’t “speak to”
the intended audience, then the audience will not:
- understand it
- know it is “directed” at them
- respond to it positively
- initiate the desired reaction you want from them upon receiving it
On the other hand, if there is no clear message at all to communicate, then
there is nothing to “market”, “sell”, “brand”
or “promote”. Rather, your target audience or PR publics are simply
just seeing, hearing or viewing “pretty” pictures, graphics and/or
words.
Your business should have a clear, concise “message(s)” that can
sum up:
- who you are
- what you do
- what you offer
- why people should be doing business with you
Once you have clear, concise and on target messaging on and about your business
and/or products and services, it is then and not until, that you can truly and
effectively build and development your business in a manner that will produce
a positive Return-On-Investment (ROI) and initiate the desired response you
are looking for from the intended audience.
